Advantages of Lechuza-Pon Lechuza-Pon is suitable for all plants (including orchids and citrus plants). Lechuza-Pon is made of high quality mineral rocks that are free of impurities and pollutants. Lechuza-Pon has an optimal air-water ratio for plants (45% water:55% air). This reduces the susceptibility to diseases. Even after years, the structurally stable plant substrate does not compact and retains its air-permeable structure. Lechuza-Pon does not need to be replaced even after years! Multiple sieving during production reduces fine particles in the rock to a minimum. This prevents silting in the root area and preserves the permanent capillarity. The zeolite content permanently stabilises the optimum pH value in your Lechuza planter for healthy plant growth. Macro and micro nutrients remain permanently freely available. Lechuza-Pon has a continuous capillarity up to the surface of the container. Sub-plantings and plants with small roots are thus optimally supplied with water.
