The headband of the oStar headlamp impresses from the first second with its excellent wearing comfort. The pressure distribution is divided between two elastic straps at the back of the head and is hardly noticeable thanks to this simple yet ingenious solution. This means that the NEXTORCH oStar can of course also be worn for longer periods of use – professionally, that is.

The included powerful rechargeable battery guarantees runtimes of up to 60 hours with just one charge. The OSRAM LED installed in the oStar is particularly economical, but with 500 ANSI lumens and a pleasant colour temperature, it always provides optimal light. The colour temperature is as close to natural as possible, which is pleasant on the eyes and makes important details and colours easier and quicker to grasp than with conventional LED headlamps.

According to the ANSI measuring method, the maximum light range is 131 metres, which is a more than respectable value for such a small and only 87g light headlamp. The lamp itself can be freely adjusted 180° up or down to have the light exactly where you need it.

Included with the NEXTORCH oStar is an adapter (Fast NVG Mount Adapter) that allows the oStar to be attached to the NVG mount of a tactical helmet in no time at all. This resistant NVG mounting plate for helmet mounting is light and robust at the same time thanks to the high-quality material. In addition to mounting on the helmet, this NVG mounting plate can also be used to attach it to metallic surfaces – the back is magnetic.
